Permission has been granted by Dublin City Council for a Community Garden in Killester Park, a plot of land beside St. Brigid's Girls National School on St. Brigid's Road, Killester.
A group of 8 residents from the surrounding area have created a fantastic opportunity to create a community space which will encourage participation at all levels.
The group will meet next Saturday 13th November 2021 at the site from 10:00am - 12:00pm if anyone would like to come along and find out more.
Along with gardening, anyone with DIY skills and an interest in creating an environment for and about the community are most welcome.
The group also have hundreds of spring bulbs to plant so feel free to bring a trowel or shovel if you'd like to help out!
